Had a 1999 Verada Wagon converted to Gas last month and now the wagon is lower in the rear than what it was and the ride is not as comfortable as it was.

Can i get different springs to fix problem or heavy duty shocks and where from.

Am in the Berwick area Victoria

Now's the time to lower it

Kings used to make a heavy duty/ raised spring but I can't see it in their catalogue anymore.

Lovells however still list one as a cargo/LPG spring. Part number is CRR-41.

Being a '99 car it might be time to look at the shocks too. An older, worn shock plus that extra weight might not cope too well.

Another KH owner in Berwick. Cool
The biggest prob with the wagons is that there isnt much rear suspension travel in the rear before you hit the bump stop. I have kings lows in my KH wagon and literlly, i can sit in the wagon area and just move around a little and it will be hitting the bump stop.
If you raise it, it will look terrible like it has been kiched up the ass. Yeah maybe try new rear shocks such as a monroe gt gas. Will set you back about $160 for both and are very easy to install.

I have a 97 te wagon with king lows ( KCRL-39) in the rear as well as a gas tank (donut in spare wheel well)
Before the gas tank went in the car sat @ a height of 370mm. (centre of wheel to guard).
With the gas tank in & full of gas it sits @ 360mm.
I replaced the shocks @ the same time as the springs with kyb.
rides great & does not seam to bottom out.
If you don't want to lower it,Kings do make standard height rear springs part no. KCRS-39

Mine went down a little, nothing much to worry about IMO and it any case it's more than due for new shocks that should fix it. But it's not a problem for me anyway.

I put a set of polyair air bags in and fixed the problem. I only need to run 5-10psi and it does the trick.

thanks for the help
once the gas tank went in and full can fit hand between the wheel and body.
before a fist could fit in
so dropped a least 2 to 3 inches
but can get 375 km for 42 litres and $21 dollars
