Howdy all;
As the title says ive got a shuddering/chugging problem with my TS. I drove it all friday with no problems, filled up the radiator on saturday and didnt drive it to work, then sunday when i drove it home from hinton the chugging started. Ive checked the all the fluids and they are fine so its not from lack of oil and such. It sounds like the timing is out or something like that when at idle (im no mechanic so i cant be sure if thats right or not), when the power is put on the chugging gets a whole lot worse but almost dissapears when gearing down. Its chugging so hard when the power is on that my cds have been skipping (and that doesnt happen much on the worst of roads) I am completely stumpped and i was hoping someone here could help solve this problem.Cheers

Plug Leads is good idea.

If not that, check to see if a plug has oiled-up, or something like? Pull the spark plugs one by one and check their condition - Search for threads about plug condition, I know a chart was posted-up recently showing common plug problems and how to pick the causes.

Is distributor mounted firmly - would retared ingnition timing give those symptoms? - better-qualified mechanics than I will be sure to give good advise in here.

Howdy all;
Thanks for the input Elwyn and Madmax.
Just checked all the plug leads, one in the front set of plugs was loose but not all the way off the plug so it looked like it was still plugged in. i pushed it back on and no more chugging that i noticed. Ill take it for a drive in a while and check she is all good and let you all know if its running properly.
Cheers

This is a good time to measure resistance of the plug leads and remove/clean or replace plugs.
