Question - On a lower spec car without a passenger side airbag, does the plug exist in the wiring?

Pulling my dash out soon to install cruise, thinking... while in rome!

Weren't side airbags only introduced in the TL/W models? If so wouldn't they be the only models with the wiring? They also got a extra side intrusion bar in the doors....... Something about being able to pass ADR rules for side impact.

I mean the one in the dash, on the passenger side! :P

In short, no, the SRS computer will have a fit if there is a plug detected with no bag connected. Think you will find that although the SRS computer can handle one, the wire is not there in the loom at all

Best way to check, pop out the glove box and the black trip inside same, you will see a red plug covered in yellow tubing if it is there. They may have one there with a terminating plug there?

I'll check it out, I also have to pull my wheel off and check if the clock spring has a cruise plug :P If not Pete has one that'll support it... Then I just have to check if the loom you gave me will support a TH-TJ clock spring (with cruise - The cruise stalk has the button integrated rather then on the dash).

Lots of work for me :P

On top of that, I've got a dead engine mount and a TB to install!
