Well it's nearly time to retire my 3.0 Lt, TH Magna Sedan, done 350,000km. Still running as good as the day I got her! Looking at a 380 SX Series 3 Auto. Has there been any "Issues" to look out for, relating to this Model?

Hi,

The 380 Series III SX is a great product, I am privileged to have one in Electro with many options. The SX in my view has the best equipment to price ratio of any of the 380 range.

There have only ever been two 380 product recalls:

4404 cars within a VIN number range of 6MMDB4V416T015463 to 6MMDB4V417T020935 with a fuel tank bracket issue that only occurs during a severe rear collision. However as you are currently looking at Series III cars nil will be involved.

1746 cars within VIN range 6MMDB4H415T000037 to 6MMDB4X415T002390 for a connector locking tab issue on a fuel line. Cars involved were manufactured 4/7/2005 to 19/10/05. Therefore this issue is only on first series 380s.

The other advantage is unless you find a high km car you will still have a good amount of factory warranty available to sort out any little issues you find.

Go purchase a 380 they are so much better than your TH or my old TJ.
