I would like to know what other members are using in the parra lights I currently have in mine :-
4w BA9S Parkers
55w H7 Low Beam
55w H1 High Beam
Also what type are you using.
isnt it H1 for the highs and H7 for the lows?
isnt it H1 for the highs and H7 for the lows?
Correct, and B9AS for parkers.

I put my parras in today and couldn't get my driving light's low beam to work too a look at the old lights then the parras and found out why.
The parras had the 55w H7 Low Beam 2 prong connect and the old standard lights had 60/55w H4 3 prong connection.
Off to supercheap on the weekend

Needless to say if you have read you would know what is required for the mod. Good luck, you should be alright.

Best bet is to search these forums, and make a fairly minor mod to your car's wiring, if you are changing from Std Magna lights (which use a dual-filament bulb - hi-beam/lo-beam on same bulb) - and changing to Parabolic headlamp units - which have a single-filament bulb one for low-beam and one for hi-beam.
The headlamp units where you have to wrestle teh halogen bulb into, are moulded to suit various shapes and "tabs" on the lamp bases - with the idea to stop you putting a H4 bulb into a lamp designed for a H1/H7.
I struck your situation from the opposite way around - I bought a '02 TJ Sports which had a front hit poorly/cheaply fixed... it should have had parra's but they had skimped and put "standard" Headlamps in. Because the wiring loom is different, my car (as I bought it) would not change from low to high beam. So, off to E-bay for me to buy parras.
SEARCH forums - some members have good info and "how-to" for the mod req'd - ditching standard headlamps in favour or parra's is REALLY popular, lots members have done it and so there is good info to be found.
if you see any posts about vehicle lighting be "HeathYoung" - you know you have excellent, reliable, expert info. read it carefully. Instead of buying H4 bulbs, you'll need to be buying some wire, crimp connectors etc.
I am using Phillips bulbs in my TJ Sports - think they are the "Plus 50" or "Plus 80" range - oh crap, maybe they are Narva brand. package was red anyway!! Haven't upgraded the bulbs in my KJ yet - Philips have some good options.
Search for threads about upgrades - there have been heaps. Trendy very white or blue light usually means less usefull illumination, don't go too over-powered bulbs (wattage) or you risk damage to wiring and possibly the plastic lenses (which as stated, are very expensive to make mistakes on). Again, old posts by HeathYoung are some of the best info you could hope to get.
EDIT: oops - beaten to it, by the excellent link posted above /phil

Thanks guys for putting me in the right direction and I don't need to get another set of new bulbs.
So all I have to do is cut the red wire and earth it to the body and she's all ok.
