Gday everyone
I've got a stock deck and in dash 4 disk cd-changer (it was an optional extra for the Solara) and am wondering if anyone knows what the head unit is (eg. clarion or eurovox)? The head unit has a tape player but also has functions that allow you to change cd tracks and discs, so I know its not the usual stock unit that most Magna's have.
The speakers are definitely eurovoxs (15w) and they have gotto go.
I'm planning to upgrading the speakers (maybe shipping infinity kappas 60.5cs and 693.5i from the US - heaps cheaper) and installing an amp and line converter (I've heard David Navone is ok - www.davidnavone.com) but keeping the head unit and cd-changer (its so handy having the changer next to you rather than in the boot). Has anyone had any experience in taking this route? :doubt:
