after noticing my gear changes not being particually smooth, especially between 1st and 2nd, and not being able to engage first untill at a complete stop. and a friction point being allmost at the floor. i began to wonder if my clutch wasnt fully disengaging. after bleeding the system again, i found an improvement especialy with selecting 1st, now i didnt need to come to a dead stop to select it.
however the gear changes still seamed rough, so i found that there are 2 clutch pedal adjustments,
the first and most obvious one, was the limiter for the hight, how high the pedal would sit, (or the distance of pedal travel) i figured the greater the travel, the more fluid could be pushed and therefore opening the cutch more.
the second was a bit harder to get to, there was an adjustment, of the rod that connects the pedal to the slave cylinder, the adjustment alloud the rod to extend as you rotated it via a thread. to setting both these adjustments to maximum, i have found that the changes are now smooth, however the friction point is now in a much higher pedal position, which is a little annoying, but i may adjust it back slightly.

anyone else had similar experience with this?

the second adjustment u refer to is called "freeplay" it is designed for those people who ride the clutch so they don;t burn it out. it is defined as the unrestricted movement of the pedal before the pedal starts releasing the cluth.
if there is too much the clutch will not fully release causing diffucult gear changes
if there is too little or none at all the cluch may not fully engage which would result in the easier gear changes u mention down side is it will create heat as the release bearing will be in constant contact with the forks. it will also burn ure clutch out alot quicker

according to the mits service mannual the freeplay height should be between 6 and 13mm from released postion ie with the pedal full released the pedal should have between 6 and 13mm movement before u feel any type of resistance
