I just bought these bits off a mate to see how they go in my doors

Old school Carbon Fibre 6" Response woofers

Not sure how these things will go but the magnet is huge and they weigh a tonne.

Other half is Boston crossovers with Boston tweeters

Hoping to get some good bass from the woofers, i remember hearing them going years ago and they had alot of bass.

Got the lot for $40 so if the setup sounds good its a steal

Nice one - I had a Response sub as my first, still one of my favourite subs.

Not sure how this will sound (as the crossover wasnt made for the speakers) but hey, give it a shot!

They look familiar. FS-60 tweeters are quiet harsh so be sure that you turn them down on the xover.

The xover should be fine with the woofer as the cut of Hz is not very low. Although they are not designed for each other, you may be able to fix any problems with your deck. Give it a go and I hope you like them!

Hard to tell from those shots, but they look pretty deep, I probably don't need to say that MDF baffles/spacer would be mandatory.
Hope the pair work well for you:D

Exact specs are hard to read off the jaycar sight, but mine look to be 65mm deep, and they fit without the mdf. So looks good so far.

you should be right with just the mdf, as the same had to be done when we did a mates.
looking forward to see how you go, keep us informed.
