I filled up my windscreen washer bottle the other day with water, now it doesn't squirt? It's like it tries to squirt but can't get it out (like it has a urine infection or something and it hurts, a la Tom Hanks from The Green Mile).
Maybe water was the wrong choice?
Could be blocked? Have you tried cleaning out the jets?
There's nothing wrong with using water, usually its the actual cleaning agents that block up the lines if they're not used regularly, water shouldn't cause any issues.

hmm well I looked up a video of it, then went to do it. Then I broke off a needle inside one of the holes. So that's good. But hey I'm now firing on 3 [water]cylinders!

you may have stirred up some dirt or something from the bottom of the reservoir that then blocked the jets or the piping.
My suggestion is open your bonnet and disconnect the little hose from the jet and then try squirting it. That way you can tell if the jets are blocked, or the actual hose. If it's the jets, you can just use a pin to try unblock them, if it's the hose I have no Idea lol

Doh. Oh well, you can now do the 380 spray mod.
Edit: you can probably get the needle out by disconnecting the hose from underneath and then inserting another needle from underneath. Don't try to do it from the outside as it may get completely wedged in.

there is also one way valves in the lines 2 little plastic joiners they actually have a spring inside them you can carefully remove them and clean them out last time mine blocked up thats where it was blocked.

I have done the 380 mod only thing is the 380 jets have inbuilt valves and the single pump on the Magna is not really enough to run them properly.
I have used 2 pumps in the bottle with 2 independant lines to get good water coverage over the screen
The jets are different to the std jets as they spray and not squirt, you will need to carefully file some small bits out of the bonnet but is not as bad as it sounds, done properly and if you put a little touch up paint on the new holes you will never know
For those who hate dirty screens are a good worth while mod to do

could very well be an air lock quite common when the bottle is emptied just disconnect the washer hose under the bonnet and hold the squirters on til it starts spraying had to do this when i picked up my tj...
