Spotted this while surfing 'round for used cars... hot looking car, GT model, shame they want $24K for it and I already have one... love those wheels & the lowering, my personal fave colour as well.

And yes , they are 20s, quote:

"The 20" wheels are worth over $2000 let alone the value in this car PLUS knowing YOUR total warranty expires 2016/175000 KLM " YES thats my car!!"

Yes, but they want $24K for it. Even taking into acct the cost of the wheels, it's a pretty inflated price. The car has done 46K. And it's an 06. $20-21K would be more reas IMO. Still, that's what you get when you purchase from a dealer. Great car though.

It would have to be one of those Mitsubishi buy back cars, they reissue it with a brand new 5 yr full warranty/10 yr powertrain, give it new tyres, battery, full service etc etc. Still, it its a bit too much for it.

There are place(s) around that add on top of that 5 yr warranty. There's a place that adds 3 years on top of the 5 years, just got to take it back every 6 months for a basic service (at least) and a checkover. 8 year full warranty isn't too bad ;) (not on that car place though)

$24k is the sticker price though, they'd likely take less :P

Looks really good though!! 20s work on the 380s, much better than on Magnas.

Well a couple of points ....

the 20's might be worth 2 grand to Joe Public but not to trade.

plus that little mod will void your Mitsubishi 5 Year warranty if it's steering suspension etc. related

I can't see how rims will change the warranty on the suspension as long as the overall diameter doesn't change.

I went the other day and saw a SIII VRX and the Mitsi dealer had just put 18" rims on it (gee they looked small!) and he was still offering the 5yr warranty.

I saw this car today. Its at Blacktown Mitsubishi on Sunnyholt Road. Its parked out the car for easy seeing from the road. (Took my car in for service)

Any change from original set up is a modification that goes beyond Mitsubishi design parameters....thus you void your warranty.

It is true to some extent, but they usually don't ping you for it.

Nah warranty won't be voided just from rims... or the dealers wouldn't have done it. They've been putting 19s (and now 20s) on 380s for years, with full warranty.

I'd agree with you if it was 16's or maybe just 17's ..... but 20's. I'd be telling my insurance company as well.
Dealers are egocentric .... they do what's good for them.
