hmmm.... ok so now that my warranties gone... i can start fiddling with a few mods.. but where to start? i'm sorry if there's a thread already like this, i tried looking, but i couldn't find any...

no ricing, just slight performance mods i guess? can anyone recommend anything/give any advice to start with? like chips, exhaust etc?

thanks in advance...

:edit: oops, think i got this in the wrong forum... if possible could it be moved to "magna mods?"

Hey mate!

Intake and Exhaust are the first places to start.

Intake
- K&N Pod filter
- K&N Pod filter w/ CAI kit

BUT exposed oil-coated filters are illegal in some states.

- K&N panel filter. Replaces stock one.

Exhaust
- Lukey or other muffler. There's a current thread about this.
- Extractors.

These are the two most debated topics on the forum. If you want to start
a riot, post something like "pod v panel filter" :D

rpw.com.au are the experts in Magna mods.

Definitely start with intake and exhaust,
As mentioned above, K&N panel or pod filter +Cold Air Induction if you want.

Since yours is a VRX, I wouldn't worry about exhaust modifications except extractors.

They're pushing into the higher price ranges tho, Pacemaker and RPW both make them, and both are good designs. There's people here with both and they're all happy AFAIK.

You could look at unichip or something like that later too.

Also, I moved the thread to magna mods for you :D
