View Full Version : Boot Lid Liner
Hi guys - anyone got a 380 spare boot lid liner they want to sell? I'm talking about the carpet kinda stuff that is attached to the inside of the boot lid and covers up the steel work/cables etc.

I bitched and moaned untill they threw it in for free. Told them that they were in ALL the rentals that I drove.:bowrofl:
I thought they must be GT only. Believe it or not they are $118 plus cost of fasteneers from Mitsu .... which is why I was seeing if anyone had one to sell

Hmmm...does anyone have a pic of these boot liners? Wondering whether it is worth the investment, lol. Thanks.

Probably not worth the investment. But you know that carpet stuff on the floor, imagine that on the inside of the boot lid..
Pic shortly.

Thanks Shoot, basically what I was expecting. I think I'll put the $118 towards some tinting instead!
Does anyone have the Part No. for the boot grab handle?
I tried purchasing one at a dealer but they couldn't seem to find it in the catalogue (they found the boot lining/carpet but I was too cheap to buy it :D)

I happen to have a spare handle, no part # on it I'm afraid.

Hi Shoot, thanks for posting that pic of your boot. You have solved a mystery of mine.
Recently I started a thread 380 Parcel Net (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65911) as I could not work out how to install it.
Your pic clearly shows a clip above and below the jack storage compartment, my 380 lacks these clips but I do have the grab handle.

I'll have to get one of these. Usually an item on the top of the line versions of cars. My XR8 never came with one, but Fairmont Ghia's and GT-P's did, bought all the bits from spares and installed.

Yeah, I've been trying to get one of these ever since I bought my car over two and half years ago, but no luck.
Cost something around $160 new from the stealership, and about the only source of a used one here in Adelaide - Eddy Wreckers - never has any in stock.
