Hi Guys,
I want to get a rough idea what i'd expect to get if I was to sell my 1999 TH Magna prior to listing it.
It's sabel black with a blemish the size of a 5 cent piece on the rear quarter.
5 Speed Manual 3.5 Litre
TJ converted bootlid with black tinted tail lights
17" rims (5 spoke)
Lowered on Kings Low (Rear) & SuperLow (Front)
K&N Panel Filter
Cat back exhaust with Mercury Muffler and twin dumper tip.
Tinted Windows and 116,xxx on the clock.

Just looking for some good advice, any ideas?

Being in such good condition, manual and with low Kms for its age id say maybe 7. The mods are subtle and id say you would be able to find someone on hear who would be interested, especially being a manual. good luck.

Id say you would get 6.5k max.
Mine has there amount of low KM's and is completely stock and i have been told i would be lucky with 5.5k. You rarely make money back on Mods.

What trim level is it?
If it's an exec I'd be looking at $4k.
Advance, $4.5k.
Sports, $5.5k.
10g, wow. lol

I'm with Disciple on this one ..... your looking at $4000 - $5000 only because its Black and the wheels. As stated those mods don't mean much. Mechanicals will mean more to a prospective buyer.
Depends on whether you want to sell it or have it lying around for awhile...

a few momnths ago me and my fiance missed out on buying a 2000 TH exec for $2800, had air bags power windows cruise control etc... all the stuff you'd expect. nothing wrong with it. It was traded in for a new car and sitting at the car yard for a week before being send off to auction.

Mine is a TH Sports manual with 145,000 on the clock and in good nick. RAA insurance valued it at 6.5k (market value, not agreed) and they are generally pretty conservative. I would say in this case though they are pretty spot on. I have been keeping an eye on carsales and manual TH Sports with more ks are going for about the same price. As yours is not a Sports you may get a little less but aim for that mark, you can also barter down but never up :)
Trade in price will be basically nothing.

Thanks for the information everyone. It has definitely been maintained and that's going to be the seller, I know the mods won't mean anything, just wanted to describe it as best I could and get a rough idea of pricing. Thanks once again.

My 99 TH xs tourer manual cost $2000 with full stereo setup. lowered on king springs, and some lame aftermarket 15 inch wheels with new tyres on them. they are depreciating so quickly :(. oh well wont sell me magna then :P

I was driving home from work last night on the Bruce Highway in QLD, and I drove past a TF Advance that had "For Sale" on it with a few of the features written into the windows with that white pen stuff they use at the drags to write your number on saying things like, "Cruise", "Airbags" etc - Price? $6,400! I had a little chuckle to myself. Shoulda wound down the window and yelled, "I GOT THIS TL FOR $6K YOU IDIOT" :facejump:
