Bought another tp yesterday arvo

Glx, Manual, efi. 300k on the clock. needs some body work. mechanically everything seems in order. the interior was dirty, but came up quite nice after a clean. mate gave me some sheep skin seat covers for the front seats.

got it for $300

the plan is to do it up and then sell it. i already have most of the parts i need so i should be able to get away without spending much on it.

haha awesome! I'd do something like this too if I had room haha. we have 6 cars on my block, and only 5 people... haha, so not a lot of room for another car.

ive learnt that doing up magnas to sell is not really worth the bother!!!

that being said though, you may be able to get away with it so to speak being not soo close to the rest of em hehe... hope you do anyway!

What do you mean by do it up though? just clean it up? or paint n further stuff?

by doing it up i mean, cleaning it up so that it looks respectable.
sunday i spent the day with my mate working on the interior. the car smelt like tobacco had muck all over the floor and centre console. its spotless now!

today we changed a fender over, the drivers side which had a big ding, pushed out the dent near the fuel cap (as much as possible). i also swapped the headlights with the ones in my daily driver as the ones in this car were so much nicerLOL

i plan to touch up the rust spots and give it a fresh coat of paint also.

those bloody door seams (mine rusting in the same place, top half along the edge) and anywhere there was panel bond used (like the boot, a rust spot for every bit where the metal was bonded with cheap stuff).
apart from the high klms not too bad shape for 300 bucks.

Rear fuel panel looks a bit whack....

Apart from that it looks like a pretty good clean up.

nope - just recognise the background in your last picture! :facejump:

Last time I was there I was freaked out by some of the sink holes in the bush, and the reason for the hollow drumming noise you get there on some bush roads!
