Hi, has anyone found mistakes in the tech manual (from this site) ?

For Example, the TPS and APS sensors and how it describes to adjust them seems to be wrong, the actual pins it suggests to test seems to be wrong..

Under Multipoint Injection/Base Manual - Page 82 it says:

Slowly turn the accelerator pedal position sensor clockwise until the point at which the closed throttle position
switch is turned OFF (continuity between terminals 1 and 2 changes to non-continuity) is found.
Tighten the accelerator pedal position sensor installation bolt at that position.

But.. The closed throttle position sensor is terminal 3 (according the the diagram of the connector in the manual), so that would be terminal 3 & 4

.. or maybe its just me

Electro magnetic interferance from the sun.

It's just a manual typo.

Its definitely pins 1 and 2 in my copy of the manual (for 6 cyl), and pins 3 and 4 for 4 cyl. cars

Haynes Manual talks about pin 3 and 4 for the continuity test.

Mits manual talks about pin 1 & 2.

It is a bit confusing. They also differ on the setup of the TPS.

Edit: Looking at the wiring diagram - it depends on whether you have traction control or not.
