LOL. I have the "brushed alloy" version of that same "rice" kit - looks like Burg Design.

Was planning to fit this to my parent's TJ Exec these last few days - but my brother has been borrowing their car continually and so it'll have to happen next time I have a few days off-work.

I got some of the silver-painted bits from Mitsi-Clearance "Heaven" to apply the brushed-alloy stickers to, and it looks fairly effective. Being lazy, I didn't paint the air-con panel or the lower console (around gear selector) before applying the kit - so those parts have the black/silver "look" going on..... was very keen to see what it looked like installed.

This particular type of "rice" cracks me up though - some parts more than others they seem to completely abandon any attempt to cover all of the panel underneath. However, I'm hoping it'll look "noice".

And I always like the woodgrain, so think the subject of this thread will look the goods for the lucky recipient!!

Yep ....rice is rice......we love it. Not to be taken seriously.

My wife likes Basmati but doesn't like the woodgrain on the Verada ... my old car the Chaser actually had genuine carbon fibre. But then it was $16k car.

Your wife doesn't have a nasty horrid woodgrain lower console around the gearshift, does she?
I could provide her with a mint (new/old stock) lower console panel in TASTEFUL black, without those inconvenient compartment lids, should she wish it!!
A cheeky ploy, I know, but we desperate woodgrain afficionados have to try!!
