Hey guys.
My exhaust is a decent redback BUT it has 2 mufflers.
Is this normal? In fact, the 'first muffler' (that is positioned close-ish to hte front axel) is the part of my exhaust that is too low to the ground!
Would it be worth going to a muffler place to get it chopped out and piped? or do all redbacks have 2 mufflers?
Cheers boys

It goes:
Pipe from engine. Resonator. foot of pipe then this rectangle about a foot long, looks seriously like a muffler then pipe all the way to the muffler and tip.
:( its too low so i cant take a pic, its all hidden away also so i'd have to get it on a 4 wheel lift thing to get a pic

all redback systems have two mufflers yes
the middle one hangs very low .. it was the lowest point on my TJ Sports when i had the redback system
chop it out and put a resonator in there i reckon

less windy and its not a dump on the end but mine has a resonator plus the two mufflers.
someone else said they do come with 2 so i might get it chopped off cause its what makes my car too low by 12mm.

Mine was low too, did your exhaust need to be modified to fit? That section on mine was simply fitted upside down, we cut and shortened it just after that muffler, then put it on wrong. Also, if all the flanges aren't lined up 100% perfect, it can sit lower as well. Had both problems with mine, thats the trouble installing parts hungover.

ahh it came with my car bu i imagine they did. there isn't alot of room for it to run so yeah im 99% sure it would have been customised to fit lol.
yeahhh im not happy with the 2 mufflers cause its too low for it :( if i get pulled over i will get slapped with a canery.

Hmmm... I think mine could still be too low, even after "fixing" it...

Hmm, I'm happy with the "noise" (or should I say quietness), but it was a PITA to fit, considering it was meant to be bolt on, and still not 100% happy with the fitment.

yeah a bolt on system should "bolt on"..shouldnt need cutting down as some members have found.. and shouldnt hang down so much lower than stock system... for the money you can get a custom made system which is what i did every time after the redback
sound was ok to me.. not quite loud enough for me but sounded ok
