To be honest, its covered in the Operators Manual (glove-box book), its covered in the Gen Mitsi Workshop Manuals which are linked from a sticky thread in the Tech Torque forum, its covered in after-market Workshop Manuals of which Haynes and Gregory's are the most-common, and it will have been covered in these Forums as well.
However:
You may decide its worth shifting the windscreen washer bottle, and the top section of battery box (if fitted) - seems like overkill but doing this does give you some room to move and vision of what you are attacking.
If you haven't detached the loom wiring connectors from the back of the headlamp units, you need to squeeze the sides of the clips to release grip on the lamp adaptors - its easy to break insulating covers of the back of the loom connectors if you don't do this. From memory, high beam and low beam bulbs might align at 90 degress to each other, so squeeze accordingly.... too tired to think how to explain this.
Plastic lock-rings turn anti-clockwise to release. The lock rings clamp the rubber seals at back of lamps.
Pull rubber grommets out of back of headlamp housing and off the back of the bulb adaptors.
There is a wire clip which you need to unlatch and swing back away. This is where a bit of space and ability to see in is most help.... these wire clips are a hassle, but are probably the way every other make of car clips the halogen bulbs into lamp housings, so you should have some idea hopefully. You need to find/feel the "handle" part of the wire clip, push it against the tension of the wire towards the front of the car slightly, then wiggle to the side off the clip and then hinge it back around - as it moves it releases pressure on the bulb adaptor.
Remove bulb adaptor with the bulb clipped into it by pulling towards the back of the car. Don't touch halogen bulbs to avoid body oils contaminating the glass and dulling the bulb when it heats up. DO NOT TOSS THE ADAPTORS. These are hard plastic things behind the bulbs - I must admit I had never seen these before, and it took a 16yo chick in Autobarn to detach the bulb form the adaptor and show me what a H1 and a H7 bulb look like off the adaptor.
If you search forums, there may be a "how to" with pics somewhere. I dunno. If you do it once or twice you get an idea of what you are doing. If you see a parra pulled out of the car, you can appreciate better what you are dealing with.
Access and visibility around the washer bottle and battery box are major hurdles if you are unfamiliar.
Best wishes

Damn!
When you say "Xenon" bulbs - I forgot to say, be careful to use a quality brand of headlamp bulb.
Cheap E-Bay bulbs have been blamed for ruining plastic parabolic headlamps in these forums.
Problems claimed to stem from:
- poor UV control in cheap bulbs leads to UV damage to polycarbonate lenses,
either yellowing of the plastic lens or causing poly to become brittle or crack.
- cheap bulb material (or possible blue crap coating on bulbs) which fumes when bulbs are lit and clouds the inner surface of the headlamp unit lens.
I have no direct experience of these problems, as I've used Philips and Narva bulbs. However, these types of headlamps cost between $500- and $600- per unit as Mitsi spares, regularly get around $300- the pair as second-hand on E-Bay and are highly sought-after. Best not to risk them with crap bulbs.
Search the forums in here for "Parras" "Halogen" "one-piece" "UV" "polycarbonate" etc to read previous posts.
