Going to do this over the weekend for the first time after 250000km, should be an easy enough squirt with carby cleaner but what I don't know is whether I should get any replacement seals or gaskets or O rings or anything for reassembly.

Not a hard job to do mate, I am sure you will be fine
Just be wary of the 5 screws that hold on the air valve as they can be very tight
Yours was done when I did your motor BTW and love those wheels lol

I think I'm gonna have to use a screw extractor to get those out out of the throttle valve I'm overhaulling. Either that or I don't bother separating it.
