can i please have pictures of other 380 flowed throttle bodys please.

also did any one else feel a difference?

p.s. my throttle body was spottles so i dont know if others felt a difference due to the new one being clean.

I have one but have no idea if it made a difference as I put it on at the same time as the K&N & 90mm intake.

ok. the only lip on the in side of the throttle body is a 1-2mm step which is sweat fa. i smoothed that out so its not a step and gave it a good polish but yeah not really worth it in my opinion.

ok. i take it you got it from rpw. looking at the throttle body it cant really be made that much bigger though. the walls are only 2-3mm thick anyway.

Yep RPW they quote it as 70mm, it has a brass butterfly.

Just looked at their website, they say it is bored 5mm from 65mm stock.

Thats the problem there 68mm stock. it's a Bosch unit not a Melco which would be 65mm. so it's only 2mm O/S. Probably not much in smoothing it (but hey it doesn't take much to clean it up). The 380 unit has a nice straight shot the old 3.5's don't the're a bit angled and restricted to dough of low throttle opening response. 380 is fly by wire so they just map the pedal to solve that problem.

Cheers Dave.

Well there you go, I thought it was only a couple of mm, thanks Dave for your input.

Good ol' misleading RPW website .....
