had my TF advance out for a run for this 1st time since last weekend (only gets driven weekends) ran perfect last weekend tonight massive surging in 2nd gear between 3500-4500 rpm can feel it in 3rd too over this range u get get the normal sunk into the seat goodness, i got home & gave it a few revs and you car hear the motor run rough at about the above rpm (rules out slipping clutch) & you can feel it in the car, only when giving it some stick it plays up.

things to consider last weekend when it rained hard in melb i was out in it, 6 months ago i changed the rear bank plugs to irudums? front bank where stock and worse for ware so i swaped rear to front been fine upto tonight.

im thinking of running it into warragul mitsubishi and pop it on the computer to see if a sensor is playin up or perhaps got wet

i have another tf the wifes i might grab the plugs leads out of it and try them also unless someone else has had similar experiance

only mods to the engine are k&n panel filter, pacemakers.

done some searching and on this thread http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7104&highlight=hesitation explains whats going on you boot it it surges gos then all of a sudden takes off worst is in 2nd gear

think its bad fuel seems to have stoped, ive purchased a new fuel filter and plugs for the front bank hopefull it will be all good

{edit} plugs fitted, filter in, half a tank of 98% ron and a bottle of injector cleaner shes back to her sweet self, not buying fuel from united in hallam again E10 crap cost me a bucketload to get the car sweet, wifes car (tf advance auto) it caused the engine light to come on as the 02 sensor didnt know what was goin on, same service station same fuel
