righto,
upgraded my front brakes to 380 calipers and slotted rotors
got the same kit that megatron was selling awhile back
now these came with bendix ultimate pads and apart from being dusty as hell they tend to squeal abit
lately i've noticed that its gotten abit louder at times
was thinking of getting that spray stuff from repco to seem if that will stop it
is there any other ways? its starting to get to a point where im embarresed to drive it :redface:
oh and the brake pads have done about 6,000k's and i got the kit second hand so dont know if its been bedded in properly

Bendix General CT's are a good pad in my experience. Obviously won't take a big thrashing like the Ultimates, but they do the job just fine when a bit of spirited driving is called for

Yeah I had Bendex Generals on my Verada and they were good.

Have Ultimates on my TL and they squeal like buggery :doubt: Would like a solution myself.

What are the Bendex Generals like for dust?

i get hardly any dust at all from them, my wheels never get dirty in 2-3 weeks of hard driving. Dont squeal either. They squealed for a few hundred kays when bedding in but are good now.

i used the spray on stuff from repco on the brembos and it did help for a few weeks, but brembos are known for their squeele, its pretty embarressing actually

Id pull the pads out and roughen them up on some concrete or emery paper and re bed them if they are glazed,although this shouldnt be needed with slotted rotors and they should "skim" the pad all the time also i would use that green PBR anti brake squeel on the backs of the pads aswell,do you run the original anti rattle shims?
