hey guys, looking at my new kj it needs to be lower, but i do a lot of driving involving ramps and humps..
so can anybody out there owning a tj/kj recommend the right spring combination for me to look into using without going over everything at an angle? as i have zero experience with this stuff lows, superlows, etc are words without meaning i dont know what these ride heights look like haha.

Easy,go for king or lovell lows allround and you should have no dramas except on the odd ramp etc where you MAY get a little scrappage, but you cant have your cake and eat it too so to speak,so its a tradeoff, suprlows wouldnt be an option for you at all IMO

thanks guys, im new to mods so its good to know these things... now to make the money $$$
I'd go King SP's if you want it a little lower while still keeping your ground clearance. About 2/3 the drop of King Lows. Also happen to be the best for ride comfort and handling I believe.

Well that depends on many factor's....I wouldn't say that myself and others would have different things to say aswell.
Just saying they arn't technically "the best for handling"

30-40mm drop on Lovells for me, occasionally hits the towhooks at the front, more commonly the droopy exhaust tips at the rear. No problems otherwise.

Yeah, If you have mudflaps still, definately take them off!!!
Since then the only thing that has scraped on my car is the exhaust tip which is only like a light tap...
BTW my car has been lowered by 2" all round on Pedders.

There's a photo of Grelise's old and new rides on King Lows here (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showpost.php?p=914349&postcount=51). Annese also has Lows on his TE here (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59832).
King Lows are supposed to be around a 45mm drop. I think they're the most suitable spring for the majority of people. They're definitely give the car a lowered look, but they're not dumped-on-the-guts low. You will have to be more careful taking driveways and when parking, but you shouldn't have too many dramas. Regular ramps and speedbumps will be fine.
