Ok.
I have a 3.0L TF Altera Auto.
It's done 230,000k's

Needs some engine work done (valve seals)

I've decided to save up and buy another magna TF-TH 5-speed manual.
The problem is that I can't find any manual models that had the Altera extra's particularily the power windows.
Now, call me lazy but I haven't had a car with window winders for nearly ten years and I don't want to go back.

I'm wondering.
How hard would it be to swap the power windows out of my Altera into say an executive or Solara?
Unless there is a model TF-TH that is manual and has power windows?

The plan would be, get an exec/solara.
Transfer accross my suspension and other mods plus power windows then either wreck or sell the altera.
I'd also want the LPG transfered accross which is yet another expense..

My other option is to do a manual conversion (new engine, box etc etc) but not sure if I could be bothered with the effort of doing it and having my car off the road for a while or the hassle of finding all the parts..

What does everyone think? cheers.

I'm sure TH+ Solaras had auto windows...

EDIT: yep, TH Advance and TH Solara came in manual with power windows.

redbook.com.au is your friend!

Hmm, TH advance/Solara in manual seem to be even rarer than manual TF's !

Buy my manual Verada (it's in the For Sale forum now)
Transfer whatever mods you want to it and you'll still have an awesome and unique manual 3rd Gen :)

can't find anywhere that says OP wants a sedan or wagon... don't know about that bar, but it's listed as a 99 TH, it's a 3.5L manual with power windows (which meets the OP's requirements).

you bored Mozz?

Hmm, maybe I'll do a 5-speed conversion to mine.
New engine (reco whatever) gearbox and all the other stuff.

may work out cheaper than buying a new car and paying for the LPG to be moved over.
Would also be a fun project..

Hmm.. 380 engine and transmission hehe !

This would be the easiest and cheapest option
