Technically a trim question, but hey.

Will in the coming month/s be building a proper enclosure for the front splits. Part of the door trim will be cut away to fit this.

Now, does anyone know of a vinyl similar enough to the factor one? (grey, 1997 TF magna).

Although it wont look quite like factory, I want it to blend in so it doesnt stick out like dogs balls - dont need any extra attention towards the stereo.

Any idea's?

ring the mitsi clearance warehouse, they should have a roll or 2 left? if not, hit up a local trimmer and look through their sample books

or even head down to your local suplier. they normally have tons of different styles and colours

Mitsi Clearance won't have rolls of Vinyl, I can guarantee that.

They WILL have a crap-load of door trims, at the princely sum of $5- each. maybe, just maybe, you could peel some vinyl off those? But maybe its vac-formed on and too well stuck. Plus, I suspect it would retain the stretch or profile of the original door trim, so may be next to useless in your application.

Would motor trimmers have sample books with what vinyls etc are available?
