wowzers!

Why? Because it means you'll have a full frontal stage, no wollowing bass coming in through the boot and getting muffled through seats.. pure sweet bass right at your feet ;)

never seen that before - i wonder if you can still hold a conversation with a sub going that close,

still looks pretty cool - dont know if i would want to replicate it myself - but cudos to him for something different.

Could have been colour matched to suit the trim colour.....and I hope he has plans to CLEAN HIS DOOR TRIM!!!

Focal made ( not sure if they still do ) an 11inch component set, that looks like what that is. When you can easily fit a 9inch component, whats another inch or 2... <--- that sounds funny when you read it back. :iough:

I was prepared to see a mangled mess, but that actually looks to be a quality job.

For my taste, there's so much quality work moulding the enclosure/mounting, covering it (shame about colour match), noice cloth over drivers......... THEN lets just show-off our godawful-looking cross-overs and ruin the whole effort.

Admittedly, my taste is conservative - favour class over rice, favour OEM over add-ons usually, and favour luxe over go-fast.

admire lots of boot installs I'd never do myself - amps on show under clear panels and lit etc - but those cross-overs in the modded doors just look like poo to me.

Proberly have a in built GPS in there HU or similar (not that you would be able to hear it with the subs going, then again if in built it would be like "AT THE NEXT INTERSECTION TURN LEFT!!!!!")

I love the concept of it, but agree. Cover up those crossovers and get some colour matching going on. Surely you would have another set in the back doors and a boot install. lol .

haha i actually work with the same company that made these and saw the pics awhile ago and was wondering if he was going to put some pics up somewhere. it is actually the midbass from focals 270v3 component set which is an 10.5in midbass (not sub)then he added the 6.5in midrange from the k2p set with the tn52 tweeter as well. sounds fantastic as well
