I think that you need to look at the DB1203.

DB1223 is the Ralliart and AWD pad. I suspect that the wording "TJ Ralliart, TL (AWD), TW, Akebono F & R Disc" is actually referring to the AWD versions of the TL and TW.

I suspect that the wording on the profile is misleading.

Best way to check is to download the Bendix PDF, print out at 100H% and physically check against the actual pad on your car.

I can not see how it is misleading at all, it clearly states that the varient of the car is Ralliart etc etc

The standard single piston pads from TR right through to the TW is the 1203

Judging by the responses in this thread,it looks as though there is some gray areas, going by the product catalogue,it says an 03- onwards TW (note the comma either side, that denotes standard variant) runs a DB1223 pad,it doesnt have a ralliart model either, so all would pick this,(unless of course you work on it yourself and can tell) also the run of the mill bloke wont know the difference between an Akebono caliper and a PBR one would they?

yeah i work at a store which sells bendix and ferodo brake pads. same model no. system on both

The books are crap. It seems like its the TL awd and then they have the TW on a separate line with commas and no mention of the TW being an awd too. when you read it for the first time its pretty misleading and there have been a few complaints made about it.

Exactly, for someone who isnt doing the job themsleves, and is relying on literature, its not flash,i havent been caught as i had the pads in my claw at the time and confirmed it was correct, for the average joe, with a TW,could get untidy!

To be honest if i didnt know better (which i do simply due to me being a 'magna guy' and on AMC:D) I would be reccomending the wrong type to customers out of the book. We've had staff do it before, and i've had to explain to people why i gave them the 03 when they read the 23 in the book... its pretty poor. but thats what this forum's for. i dont know of anybody on here who wouldnt help out a fellow magna owner
