I got my car back from the mechanics today i got timing belts tensioners water pump and cooling system done,
and since i got it back the engine runs pretty rough, like it has a little chug to it, it feels like its idleing too low but i dont think it is...
has anyone got any ideas??? could this problem be casued by the mechanics?

Happens to me every time I disconnect the battery, the car works a little rough...but goes back to normal after a week.

yeah if you disconnect the battery apparently you have to turn the car on and leave it idleing for like 15 min so the computer can reset the idol.... thats my mechanic said... but i dont think its that becasue they apparently didnt disconnect the battery...

Well, worst case is...... they changed a Timing Belt. Its possible that they have disturbed/not-kept correct timing when putting it all back together. It is good practice for a mechanic to manually crank the engine (using socket on crank pulley) a full revolution when Timing Belt back on to make sure Timing Marks line up properly.

If a bit of running doesn't improve the situation (just in case the battery was disconnected, and all it needs is for ECU to re-learn), it might be wise to get car back to workshop asap, express your concerns and ask them to check Timing.
