I know it's probably been done to death but..
I've been thinking about doing some lighting, just the foot wells and maybe the boot.
I just want it to be an on/off switch in the center console or something, and just want it to be a nice even glow (probably red).

Where's the best place to mount them for the foot well?
Which lights should I get for a nice even look? Neons or LEDs? What size? Which brand is a winner, and where can I get them?

Haha, lots of questions, but I'm sure you guys can help me out.
Wiring should be easy enough, unless I need to muck around with relays, I have no idea about them, I was just going to have a switch on the positive line.

Hey Aaron you should already have a light above you foot on the drives side just tap into that and run some wires across to the passenger side you will just need to get another bulb holder there is a hole where 1 fits.This is all i did and i used T10 leds i think they look quite good i also just put a 40cm neon tube in the boot and wired to the original light .Pm me if you want more details,ebay links or pics or if you want come and have a look i could also help you fit them if you like.

I went to repco and bought 2x 8 LED light sticks put one on the grey bit under the glove box and just above pedals on drivers side, i ran the wires from the factory phone plug ( i think it was that) underneath the gear changer cover and slowly drilled a hole and put switch there aswel. Just recently i installed one in the boot and wired it up to the same switch ran the cable under the carpet, works great and looks wiked
