Hey guys,

I have had to rip out my distributor due it being rooted and have gotten a few quotes from wreckers.

~130-140 seems to be how much it is for a 2nd hand dizzy.

Question is, is there something else out there, ie. repco or something which sells new ones for similar (say $200 max)?

what exactly is wrong with it? i have a pulled apart dizzy, ill sell ya the part you need

ahh no worries now mate, went and got one from the wreckers.

Was underneath the dizzy cap it was as cracked as anything, that section was $118 from repco or $135 from the wreckers for a full one

I have replaced the distributor O ring as it was leaking engine oil. But unfortunately it appears to be still leaking. So the question is: Can it still leak through some other places even if the O ring is good? I am thinking maybe via the shaft into the distributor and then through distributor cap seal? any thoughts?

By the way, I called up a few wreckers, and the cheapest I have got was for $80 with 30 day replacement warranty. But I must dismantle and get it myself from their yard.
