Hi all,

Just remembered a modification I did for my car a while ago. Don't know whether you guys
know this or not but the pipe section between the header and the cat on the 2nd gen v6 are
like the top one in the attached drawing. I went to D&T Performance and they replaced it with
a TF Sports front section which had better flow as shown in the bottom one in the attached
drawing and its slightly larger in diameter as well.

Cheers all.

The end attaching to the cat is 2.5" which is what my piping is so no problems there. The two
ends that attach to the header is slightly larger than stock (0.25") so the header pipes were
flared abit. Can't remember how much it cost me. They had one lying in the shed when they
modified the Sports (the one on their webpage). I had 2.5" mandrel bent piping done as well
and all for $100. You could go to a wrecker and pick one up fairly cheaply.

Gains.... Well, the dyno showed 100kw at the wheel with all the mods, didn't check dyno prior
to fitting the new front pipe.
