hi all does anyone know where to run the wire at the rear of the dash in TF for it to light up when your foggies are on? ive wired up the foggies as per factory but i am missing the wire that goes into the back of the cluster.

I can't say for TF, but:
- TJ Ser II Sports the Fogs indicator light is just about one position to LEFT of the middle of the dash at the top - Manual Dash Cluster.
-KJ Ser I Verada with Blackout Dash - Fogs indicator light is right in middle at top between speedo and tacho - its exactly above the Park indicator bulb.
can yuo see on you cluster which position is screen-printed for Fogs? Can you track that back on the printed circuit to a pin?
If you have the pdf Factory Manuals, maybe the Wiring/config diagrams would tell you which pin-out etc - crap, I don't have a TF version of those (and wiring diagrams do my head in, anyway).

I am going to do this perhaps tomorrow, will check out the cluster and give you the pin number on the cluster
So you say you used factory wiring, I gather you spliced into the TF harness all the wiring needed, did you use the factory switch inside etc?

i ran new wires to set up the fog lights but ran it all the factory way thru the relay box under the bonnet,
on the TF the wire sits in the right hand cluster plug on the top row 3rd from the left ,
there is no pin in the plug i just need to know where to run the wire from that position and what it joins up to to make it light up.

You are correct about the wire in the right cluster plug. You need to run a wire from there to the positive side of the fog light circuit - after the relay, but before the fog light.
See the picture attached.
The fog light bulb in the cluster is looking for power, so when the relay is active it will light up....the other side of the bulb circuit in the cluster is grounded inside the cluster.
