depends, if u buy a pod, make sure its one of those oval k&n one. the rounds dont work. you might see a benefit you might not. u might get a flat spot u might not. so yeh. fuel wise u might save a little bit but is it worth the cost of the pod? does make a cool sound. so yeah theres my input

This is why I hate more CAI threads. For one, that's a lead of bull****. Round pods work with the right adaptor.
Fuel wise you won't see 1 bit of difference

WOW!!! Another CAI Thread - only "days" old!!! that we all were posting in, probably yesterday!!!
I bet LOTS has changed in the world of CAI since then!!
Okies - I'll stop being silly (not to mention nasty).
Search of forums for term "CAI" seems to be in-order - there'll be LOTS of reading, I'm willing to bet.
Plus a zillion similar-but-different CAI installs by members. Probably with pics and how-to's.
Maybe "CAI" should be added to the Swear-Filter - LOL!!!

hey Presti - don't sweat it! Its all good.
But, be warned there will be HEAPS of reading, either everyone's ideas about it, or lots of kits vs self-installs.

Beginners in the world of CAI may wish to experiment with ice packed around the air cleaner, to get a feel of how CAI improves performance, before they get more adventurous.
Experts in the field of CAI need to lighten up and be more tolerant with beginners.:gfight:
