Well I removed my Dash Cluster Needles so I could scan my cluster and remake it for fun.
I was wondering if there is a special way to re-align the needles on the speedo etc.
Thanks in advance.

I can Kinda align them by putting them at about were they normally sit when my car is running (700rpm etc)
But is there a more precise way? :D
Thanks in advance.

also would love help on this
my heat and revs have been out for months, tried re-aligning and they just sprang back to idling at 4k and completely overheating constantly.

for the temp needle, let car idle for about 10mins or however long it takes to get to operating temp, then plus needle just under half way
for the rev's, again once car is at operating temp the car should be ilding at roughly 700rpm, maybe more or less depending on how the idler is set
the speedo, gps would be a good way to make sure its set correctly
and for fuel well put it back where it was before lol

Should Idle at 700 +-100..
I tried setting the speed at 0 when the car was on, it is constantly 10km under.
Fuel and temp does not work at all, just stays at the same level :S. (Musnt be plugged in properly)
Is there an official way Mitsubishi does this?
much appreciated :D.

when mine didnt work at all, i had pushed my needles back down too far and they were simply unable to move properly because of them pressing on the dials.
maybe pull them forward a tiny bit so they definately arent rubbing?

Yeah I noticed that before and fixed it. I wobbled the wire that go to the left of the dash and that clicked in properly and now works :]. My fuel meter is way off though :D. Need to fill up and work it out. >_<.:eeek:
Also, to do the speedo, Pull out the pin that stops it going beyond 0, and line the dial up with the middle of the "0" then push it on. Push the dial above 0 and replace the pin and vola :D.

I found the simplest way to check / adjust speedo calibration was to used the speed alarm on my TH, set it to 100 and go for a drive on a freeway etc, fuel gauge, just fill up tank , move needle to full, and watch when warning light comes on, gauge is just approx, so I like it approx 5mm away from empty.
cheers
