Hi guys

Looking at doing a new front speaker install for my 03 TJ. I was just wondering what exactly is in there already; from previous posts I know there is a 6.5 inch speaker, but from other posts I have read that this has a coaxial setup (effectively beind 2 speakers in one). Could anyone please clarify without me pulling the door off. Sorry for the noob question.

As people have already said, its a 6inch speaker. If you aren't running an amp to them there won't be much point upgrading as the stocks are pretty good. I ran pioneer bullet splits of my 50w deck and without an amp the stock speakers sounded better.

EDIT: this was when I had my KR Verada

The VRX came with 2 way splits up the front. Usually they where like 20WRMS or so. Coaxials came in the normal magna's and some veradas for that year model. You will notice the tweeter mounted high in the corner of the door.

Headunit upgrade is usually first on the cards. :D

All the Verada's had 2 way splits, at least in the 3rd gens anyway.
