and another trick is to get an old carby car, get rid of the exhaust (what, it was by accident! seriously! .....i just decided not to fix it) run it really rich, and then piss off those annoying pedestrians on every backfire!!
actually no dont do this. they don't like it when u slow down next to them and BANG!!. trust me....

I can't even begin to imagine how many laws these things break
Each kit comes with two large neon signs that you apply to each side of your car that reads "book me" lol

So how much and how do you install them (ie how are the flames produced) ??
Where do you get them from ??
Would the yaffect the engine at all ??

OMG that is so awsome!!!! STUPED SAFETY and LAW grrrr.... i want it so bad , BUT i am an idiot an therefore would use it all the time.

LOL...im pretty sure it wouldnt have ne effect on the moter...and the price is on the site...to install prob b about $100
how would it effect the engine as said somewhere else here the only way i can see this working is having a small bottle of fuel of some sort, or stealing a little from the tank and just squirting it into the exhaust and having an ignition point before the muffler or after like a spark plug or something, maybe it'd ignite itself considering exhausts can get up to like 400 degrees i heard somewhere

Yes, they would impound your car and your engine will never run again lol

I did a fair bit of reseach a while back into these. My understanding is the way these things work is they simply ignite unburnt fuel at the end of the exhuast.
Carby's can do this easy however EFI cars with catalyc converters will find this near impossible (us magna boys). The only way to successfully do it is remove the cat or hollow one out (don't be tempted massive fines here). Im wondering if there are any cats that would be free flowing enough to let unburnt fuel through :D
Serioulsy i would hate to think what a cop would do if they saw one of these baby's fired up lol

the high flow cat still too restrictive?

YEH GROUP buy i'm in... but i wonder aswell will a high flow cat enough??
AussieMagna

I don't even think a high flow cat would do it, if anyone has seen one in pieces you'll know what i mean, I doubt any fuel molecules would be able to get through...
I think the only way to pull it off is to remove the cat or hollow out your cat (obviously this means your car is not street legal - don't be tempted to go on the road without or a hollow cat, the fines are around $10,000 a pop, not worth it).

Unless the cop pulls your exhaust to pieces how would they know wether it was hollow or not?

but doesnt your car sound alot different with the cat out???
plus if it wsa a defect station im sure they would have the tools to check...sly lil piggys......

The police have been known to target car clubs buy blocking everyone off in a car park and conduction road worthy test.
They have mobile emmision tests and with no cat you will fail horrifically. If your unlucky enough to get caught then expect a MASSIVE fine.
Yes your ehxuast would sound different without a cat, wouldn't be able to tell you what like though...

easy way of noticing a car without a cat is when they change gears at rather high RPM, big black dusty smoke will come out of the exhaust!
easiest way!

So its really a risk people...... i think most people do it for the adrenalin that pass's through them when the cops drive past them and not finding out, its the instant "HIGH" u get when u flick that switch and the flames come out
