Hi everyone

Would anyone out there know whether one of those awesome looking Nardi Woodgrain steering wheels that came out with the GTVs etc would fit my KS Verada?? I wouldnt have a clue so hoping there is someone out there that can answer my question.

Hope you all have safe and enjoyable easter break and take it easy driving too.

thanks

Here you go have a read of this, I recently put a leather 'sports' wheel in my KS.

The Nardi one should fit fine also but I haven't personally tested it.

Might take the chance and buy one based on that info. Wish you were in Adelaide, then you could help me install it and the rear diamante lights I havent had a chance to do yet. !!! Tell me do you have any more info on how to wire up those extra lights at the back?? I cant seem to see where the brake light lead is for the spoiler brake light and the bulb holders I have, have 2 wires coming out of them with the 3 wire a ground scewed on top that is seperate

Yes I am an amateuar and very much so one at that. Wish I could do these mods as easy as you guys do!!!!!!!!

Went out and had a look at the steering wheel on my KS. Mine dosent have the air bag and I notice that the cruise control functions are mounted to the steering wheel. I am guessing that these two issues may pose a problem.

Might place this mod in the 'too hard basket'

Ummmm it should I think all KS's came with them standard. Take a photo of your steering wheel mate, does it look like my original one?

The cruise stalk you will need to source from a TE/TF because our one's dont have an on/off button.

Your spoiler light positive wire might not be able to be found on the bootlid, you might have to find it in your boot somewhere (or you could just patch into your brake wires down there, use a multimeter or one of those light globes to test). My car had the spoiler added to that boot lid so the wires were easy to get to.

Also, a good ground point is under the lock mechanism. Unscrew the two bolts holding it on and file or sand back the painted metal underneath so you get a good contact, then add the wire and screw it all back together

Nah my steering wheel is completely different to your original one. Definately NO airbag there mate. My car is a KS Ei so is different to yours and this is one option my Ei does not have

Well then you can just grab a hornpad cover from a TE-TF and go from there, don't have to have the airbag.
