Hi guys,
Last night the main cabin light festoon light in my Verada was flickering, I tried giving it a bit of a tap and I must have touched one of the contacts, as suddenly all the interior lights (door, underdoor, footwell, cabin) went dead. I thought I must have blown the fuse, and I did. This morning I checked and sure enough it was dead, I replaced it with a new fuse, but still nothing?
I'm scratching my head wondering what else I can do? There's no power getting to any of the interior lights or the clock.
Any ideas?

If there is a wire shorting out or a contact shorting out maybe it has blown the fuse again.check to see if its blown again if so good chance there is a wire shorting out in the light that you tapped if so it will blow the fuse as soon as you put a new one in.

Have you checked the fuses under the bonnet as well ,I,m pretty sure when i had no interior lights after changing my hoodlining i had a blown fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay.

Yep checked all fuses. As far as I could tell the only fuse for the interior lighting is in the bonnet. The fusebox in the driver's footwell doesn't contain a fuse for interiors.

MMMMMMM if all fuses are ok it may have burn't abit of the wiring maybe some between the fuse box and the cabin area.Really hard to diagnose with out seeing and testing the car with a testlight.Unless you know an auto eletrician that could check it for you.If you were out this way i could have a look at it for you.
hehe could be time to rip out the roof lining and dash and trace it back make sure the wire didnt burn at all.
well maybe not but i like it the hard way, esp if ya got a roll of dynamat to apply while the roof lining is off

does you trip comp still work? check all fuses in footwell.. i remember when i blew mine it was a fuse under footwell that had nothing to do with the interior lights at all... may have been trip comp, horn or stereo... was long ago i cant remember exactly what it was but try em all :)
