hi everyone.

in the 3rd gen, 3.0L magnas (te, ke) is it possible to change the electronic timing. i have made the distributor spinnable, however the computer corrects the timing automatically.

i know that honda cr-v's are adjustable by bending a paper clip into a u-shape, then inserting it into two prongs on the service module adaptor, (somehow bypassing the ecu) and then turning the distributor.

i guess i want to know if i can do something like this with my magna. (1996 te)

Graham was doing a kit to allow the sensor pickup to be moved. I've emailed him to see where he's up to but with all the work he's been up to getting cams done, and now delving into the 3.8 engine, not to mention developing 3 specs of brake pads and he's now looking into casting 330mm front brake rotors etc, etc, he may have been sidetracked.

Will let you know as soon as he answers back.

Cheers,
Alan
