Gday guys, quick question... my uncles TH magna has a faulty blinker. It turns on straight away (blinks) when he wants to turn right, but has to play with with it a few times to get the left blinker to turn on. Would that be faulty wiring or a faulty stalk? And whats the best solution? Cheers. JM

I had similar problem a couple of years ago with my TS, where the indicator when turning right would sometimes work and sometimes not. When it didn't work, I had to do it manually click on/off just for saftey. Anyway, as all the lamps were working including the hazards, it tuned out to be the Flasher Unit. It cost me around $60 from Mits. Dealer, and a lot of frustration in removing the old one, and fitting the new one.

Mine is situated behind the dash on the right side behind the small coin compartment. Almost need to be double jointed in hand and arm. I used a small make-up mirror to view from behind the dash which was of great assistance.

Remover the shrouds from the around the column 3 screws underneath then there is 2 screws holding a plastic bracket piece over the stalk and a couple of electrical plugs to undo at the back and it will come off.

Just checked my Statement, it was $85.60. The Spare Parts guy was very apologetic at the price.
