i just finally got my front ralliart bar on and realised it hangs out over the wheel arches so i need to get flares
when i put side skirts on do i have to get the rear flares as im not getting the rear bumper

Just went outside and took a look at my car.
Looks to me that the whole kit leads into the next piece.
So without modification I expect the side skirts to look unfinished if you don't have the flares. The side skirts seem have the start of the flare shape in them.
The rear flares also don't go right around the rear wheel arch. The rear bumper completes the wheel arch shape.
So without taking my rear bar off etc. - it looks like the rear wheel arch/flare would look unfinished without the Ralliart rear bar.
:doubt:

what if you used VRX flairs, they are different, so you shouldnt need the rear bar

Problem...
Ralliart flares are different to VRX/GE flares.
The ralliart flares are thicker/wider and the front bar & side skirts are set up for the width of the Ralliart flares.

you can make the front bar work without flares

all you do elongate the holes in the front bar where the screws go through to the guard....

elongate them enough so you can push the bar inline with the guard then do the screws up.. if there is space you could prob drill new holes in the bar. if not just elongate the original holes as ive described

Yeah I knew they would be different. But would a ralliart front bar with GE flares and GE skirts look half bad. As long as they look allright against the joining of the ralliart front bar it would be ok?? Much better than the front bar all by it's self.
Or what if ralli art flairs with GE skirts? Need some one to physically compare, I think it would be an interesting combo. I'm sure there is someone out there that has a ralliart front with a differnt kit around the car

i had a look at doing that the problem is by doing that buts a big gab along the whole front bumper

see how the ralliart flairs are shorter, as the front bar makes up the rest of the flair

looks like your going to have to go with ralliart flairs, cuz they are shorter than GE ones to match to the front bar.
however problem is, on the Rear they are now too short as there is no rear bar,
so if you went GE flairs on the back, you wont need a rear bar, but some GE rear pods would be nice.
GE parts are cheap too, i just bought get of GE sides and 2 rear pods for $130
or perhaps you could go GE all round with VRX flairs and cut the front flairs shorter, to line up with the ralliart front bar, that would be your cheapest option

Also, please take a look at the driver's side front under the bonnet (Radiator support panel?) and let me know what Build number it was, I have been making a list of Ralliarts (and their build numbers, colour, auto/man, sunroof, etc.) - including some which have been written off. Just lets me tick off another build number.

If you get ralliart side skirts you won't need to get rear flares to make it look ok. The only thing you will see is the side skirt sticking out a little bit from the car but it will be barely noticeable.

hey mate i must have gone through every option in this case coz i decided to have a GE front VRX rear and rallart sides all joined together with GE flares. GE flares are the longest and the best starting point if you want to cut and modify them to fit any other kit. they go fine with a VRX front rear and sides with only a bit of shortening but they are rounded at the side skirt base where as the ralliart ones have a corner. i gotta fiberglass mine to make them perfect but you cant tell too much. mayb get GE flares for the front and cut them you should get away fine, but if you want the ralliart sides u gonna hav my dilemma. as for the rears the GE flares go almost to the bottom of the bumper so you can get away with just them and no rear for a bit. personally id go the vrx rear (like i did) and make a sick hybrid of the two!
