Hey all,

My wipers only work on speed 2... not on INT or 1... and when i switch back to INT, 1 or OFF, the wipers stop wherever they are - they wont automatically park. i cant seem to find any info about wiper motors. I have a wiring diagram (the gregory's manual) of my car but who knows what the wiring means without info as to how the wiper motor/relay works. i'm trying to avoid taking it to someone to get fixed. :D

it's annoying when i have to turn my wipers full speed when it's only spitting and then i have to switch it off at the right time so the wipers 'land' at the bottom of the windscreen.

sounds like its the motor or the relay but i could be wrong, it could also be the switch and or the wireing :confused:

i got another relay off a wrecked magna... still no sign of it working properly...

Sorry to dig this up, but I have the same problem at the moment and have no idea where my repair manual is. Can someone direct me to a wiring diagram or likely cause?

there are relays above the accelerator pedal
under the dash might be one of those relays

or under the bonnet

Self parking of the wipers is part of the wiper motor, unless the stalk switches cut power too soon. Try a different wiper motor. Switches on the stalk may be defective. Pull apart and check, replace if needed.

Was the wiper motor. Might have a spare somewhere...
