I will be doing my boot spoiler late this afternoon after work and I need a little help as the instructions do not cover everything that it has come with for example :-

It has come with 2 types of padding spacer's one thin and one thicker which do I use ?

The template where do I place them so I know where to drill and not make a mistake ?

These are not properly covered in the instruction it has come with. :tired:

Panel beater did mine, he just took the old advance wing off, patched the holes, re-drilled 5 new holes for the new vrx spoiler (4 for the spoiler, 1 for the lead). I guess line the template up on your boot where you want it, check under to make sure it will be a flat the surface for the bolts.

On the new spoiler, fit the bolts supplied, or measure centre hole to centre of hole. Sit spoiler on booot lid, use a fine tip marker and trace the position of spoiler that you're happy with. Use the gaskets as a guide also, Check with the earlier measurments and center punch where you wanna drill. Start off with a 1/8th bit then go with a slightly larger bit than the bolt size, Once you have you holes drilled, pop deck lid then from the inside drill a a hole large enough to accomadate the appropriate socket size (you may need a 25mm hole saw) and to feed the brake light wire through. Don't forget to brush touch any bare metal and use some sillastic around the holes as well. Take your time, don't rush. Use a measuring tape. Get it right. You'll be happy.

hey what spoiler are you installing? i got a sports wing on mine and im about to swap it with a vrx one. Just not sure if the bolt spacing is gonna be the same im hoping not to have to plug and re drill

It's just a stock one me thinks with the stop light built in.
