Can someone tell me if the battery holder is bolted or spot welded into place......i need some extra space and wanted to remove it to alter it and fit a more compact battery.....don't really want to disconnect the battery to check, cheers!

bolted, i had to remove it when i did my conversion.
its mounted to the transmission and a small bracket attached to the cars body, from memory
