im factory alarm works good so dont want to buy an alarm so i want to put in one of those red led lights in
here is what i found out im not a sparkie is there an easier way than having to pull out and chop in to ignition like from the fuse box or somthing or radio
just put the red wire to +12V power and the black wire to +12V Acc or ignition. Every time you turn the car off the L.E.D will start flashing automatically like an alarm. When you start your car, it will stop flashing so as not to annoy you.

Pretty sure the light on the ignition barrel goes out once the car is running. Could tap into that.

get a flashing LED (Z4404) from Dick Smith for $1.60 and wire the long leg to Battery positive and the short leg to Acc or Ignition

this LED does not need a resistor it is a stand alone unit
