Hey Guys,

I've had a look in the Mitsubishi book and it says to get the coolant from Mitsubishi service centre. Is this the only fluid you can use or can you get a specific type from supercheap/autobahn etc??

I am pretty sure you can use after-market fluids for the radiator as they are very generic. Same as brake fluid. I would only however use genuine Mitsu Transmission Fluid, as we all know can get problematic if other brands are used.

But WHY? my local mitsu service centre does brake fluid and coolant for 100bucks and this recommended change times of every 2 years. Only few dollars more compared to the aftermarket stuff.

I'd rather just buy the coolant, so I'd be hoping to spend well under 100 dollars

The coolant concentrate from Mitsubishi was pretty much the same price as the aftermarket stuff from memory Think it was around $30ish for 4 litres. Just make sure you get the concentration right.
