just bought a orion cobalt 600.4 to run my splits and 6x9's has anyone here had much to do with them?
@ $230 and with 2yr warranty doesnt seem too bad, replaced my cadence q4000 with this amp.

I believe JB sell these now. Don't look too bad, I'd say a respectable amp for the price. What are the actual RMS figures?

Bit on the weak side for my tastes/needs - but if it serves you well then ace :)

RMS figures:

60 x 4 @ 4Ohm

75 x 4 @ 2Ohm

old school Cobalt was the ****! these days its fairly ordinary, on par with cadence for the most part i could imagine

why ask when its already purchased?

if you don't have an amp it'll be a great improvement. if your changing then same thing.....

the biggest prob with amp's is the install.!!!!!

use good wires and fuses.

Should work well. Agreed though bit late to ask peoples opinion when you have already bought it.

No real reason I see to change from the Cadence unless it was faulty.

just asking for opinions boys settle down lol no matter what is said it wouldnt sway me either way it should be a better option then the cadence anyway. even the cadence served my needs for a couple of years.
