well early 380s have had an issue with the front windscreen top rubber seal warping and the glue running down the window. mine is a 2008 model and the glue ran down the window.
i prefer the vrx to the rest just prefernce especially s3.
other than the glue and a drivers side cv joint brocken (getting replaced next week ive had no issues with it. great power with decent fuel economy.

If you can, i would seriously conside buying one of these new. they woudnt cost much more than a good second hand one with low k's, and you get the whole 10 year warranty.
Series 3 platinum with sunroof $21k in bris(Manual though) (http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/demo/details.aspx?R=6927286&__sid=120D4DE03FA9&__Qpb=true&Cr=0&__Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_Price_Decimal|1|| pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&keywords=&__N=1216%201246%201252%204294964597%204294964376%2 0900&seot=0&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=4&silo=1011)

Yeah, that's strange, eh?
I just got my windscreen replaced and two weeks later gotta bullseye:wtf:
Took it to a local windscreen guy who fixed it and told him about the windscreen rubber. he said it never needed replacing :eek2: Reckoned the glue was only used to locate the rubber on assembly and had nothing to do with sealing the windscreen. I could have just wiped it off and forgotten about it.
Ol' Fart, you're welcome to drive mine anytime. Drive a modded one - I think you'd be surprised in a good way.
82 000km and no probs apart from the windscreen seal (and looks like it may not have been an issue). Car is still tight as a drum.
Only thing I'm not happy with is the rear vision, so reversing sensors are a must.

There's an LS edition in fawn interior that the Pookster may like (Linky (http://www.aussiemagna.com//forums/showthread.php?t=57098&highlight=install+speaker)), Standard suspension so a comfy ride is ensured, SX, VRX's and GT are fair bit firmer.
Or I beleive there is a GTL. Comfy suspension and Black Leather, Black Marbley plastic inserts, Electrochrotic mirrors, boot lid carpets, premium sound, Kinda like a premium Verada.
I've had no issues at all, no window Reg probs, no Windscreen glue running, mine was replaced tho.
And the go for gas up the coast is Marjack's, probably the best around.
Heres Fantasia's LS

$21,990 for a brand new Platinum manual with sunroof, Bluetooth & fogs!
That's gotta be the buy of the century!
If it had been available in SA six months ago at that price I would have bought it for sure.
But as FFEEky says, it's a manual, so probably not suitable as a Granny car.

There's another Granny Spec going in SA.

Same dealer I bought mine from.
They've been trying to flog it for over a year now.
And they're asking 7k more than the Qld one.
Admittedly it's only done 8 kms, but either the Qld one's done a heap more kms or the SA mob are being greedy.
