Hi guys,
Had a mishap on the highway last night. Skidded in the rain at a bend @ 80km'h on the highway, and kept correcting and recorrecting, eventually bumping into a siderail at around 30km'h :(

Ended up pushing in and cracking the LHS rear bumper. Quite upset about it but glad it wasnt worse. Tires are new so I'm assuming I should have been going even slower in the quite heavy donwnpour, which is strange since the highway bend is a 110 zone.

Anyways, I've only got third party insurance. Was wondering if:

Does anyone have a rough idea what panel beaters charge? - will post pics soon
Any place in southern tassie that might have a rear bumper for a 99 Verada? Worst thing is, i need it in Beige
Are Magna and Verada rear bumpers the same?

wow mate your so lucky that no one got hurt at 80kmh but at least everyone is okay... the rada and magna bars are the same AFAIK.. but your gonna have to get one and paint it as the beige ones are VERY rare

the verada bars are different to normal magna bars
the veradas have extra padding in them, i think the reo bars are different too

Thats what Im most grateful for! Its a divided highway so there was no worry of people driving down the opposite lane. Might just go with a panel beater then, depends on which is the cheaper option. Finding a Verada bumper...and a beige one at that is gonna be one helluva task.
