Hey people well today i finally did it. I installed the Monroe GT Gas Shocks and the lowered King Springs. Woohoo.. I have a Go-Kart again. I need to get an Adjustable Panhard rod still, as lowering the rear of the car pushes the rear axle over towards the passenger side of the car :(
But i will have that probally tomorrow.
The Springs cost $240 for all 4 of em.
I carnt remember the price for the shocks. i think they were around 300.
The rear is easy to do. Remove the boot internal covers and undo the 2 nuts at the top of the shock. then jack her up and take off wheels and undo 1 nut, take the bolt out and thats pretty much it.
Front was a little trickey at first. Take off the dust coveres off the top of the strut and undo the big nut. (Dont undo the 2nd nut leave it till u get the strut out)
jack her up again, take wheels off, undo 2 nuts and remove 2 bolts and pull old strut out.
Thats pretty much it.
I needed Spring Compressors to put the lowered springs on the new shocks. I will post a pic of it when i get the Panhard rod and have it all alligned properly.
